Job summary

SGA Dental Partners invites applications for a Senior Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and close processes. Responsibilities include analyzing statements, tracking KPIs, and coordinating with the CFO on long-term planning.

Required are a finance-related BA/BS and 3+ years in FP&A with experience in GL systems like QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite. Eligible for remote work in numerous states; visas not required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (CPA or CFA a plus).
  • 3+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling.
  • Experience with a wide range of GL systems including QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports.
  • Tracking KPIs and preparing financial reports.
  • Assisting with budgeting and monthly close processes.
  • Understanding key business drivers.
  • Assisting project teams with financial guidance.
  • Developing financial projections and building financial models.
  • Performing research and analysis as required.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations.
  • Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis.
  • Forecast quarterly and annual profits.
  • Prepare cost projections.
  • Analyze and report on current financial status.
  • Conduct thorough research of historical financial data.
  • Explore investment options and present risk and opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the CFO and the executive team on long-term financial planning.
  • Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement.
  • Participate in budgeting (for departments and projects).
  • Review accounting transactions for data accuracy.
  • Establish financial policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions.
  • Assumes and executes additional responsibilities as assigned.

Job description

SGA Dental Partners is hiring for a Senior Financial Analyst. This role will perform a variety of financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, building financial models, assisting with financial planning, performing research and analysis, preparing reports, and assisting with close processes.

Education/ Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, (CPA or CFA a plus)

Pay range

Pay range: $85,000 - $105,000 , depending on experience

This position is eligible for remote work in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin.
