The University of Iowa in Iowa City seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to serve as the primary fiscal manager for multiple units within Finance & Operations, leading budgeting, reporting, and strategic analysis on campus.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field, 3–5 years of experience, advanced Excel, and excellent communication to present complex information to leadership. The position is on campus with potential hybrid options after six months.
The Senior Financial Analyst serves as the primary fiscal manager for multiple business/auxiliary units in Finance & Operations, providing financial leadership, strategic analysis, budgeting and operational support. This position is not eligible for University sponsorship for employment authorization.
Duties to Include:
Location: University Capitol Centre (UCC)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, position would work fully on campus for approximately 6 months. After this time, a hybrid option may be available.
Salary: The hiring range for this position is anticipated to be $70,000–$85,000. Salary offers are based on a variety of factors, including education, experience, skills, and budget considerations. In limited circumstances, compensation outside of the anticipated range may be considered for candidates with exceptional qualifications.
