Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking a Senior Analyst / Manager of Analysis to join our Dixie® Operations Finance team, supporting our plates manufacturing site in Bowling Green, KY. This role serves as a key financial partner for the Bowling Green manufacturing site, which produces Dixie® branded and Private Label plates. This role will help site leadership understand performance, identify opportunities and risks early, and make decisions that improve cost, productivity, quality, and long-term value. You will partner closely with operations and finance leaders to challenge assumptions, close gaps, create value, and support transformation through actionable insights, disciplined analysis, and strong follow-through.

Location:

This role requires regular on-site presence at the Bowling Green, KY manufacturing plant to provide direct financial support, build strong partnerships with site leadership, and stay closely connected to operations. Occasional work-from-home flexibility may be available as business needs allow. The Senior Analyst / Manager of Analysis reports to the Director of Operations Finance, located in Atlanta.

The Operations Finance team spans all GP operations and corporate headquarters in Atlanta, GA. We are dedicated to supporting manufacturing teams embracing strong economic and critical thinking, leveraging point-of-views, and considering alternatives and ranges of outcomes when making investment decisions. Our collaborative approach involves partnership with Plant Accounting, Commercial Finance, and other Centers of Excellence.

The Dixie® business is part of Georgia-Pacific’s Consumer Products business. Dixie® delivers value across both retail and B2B channels with quality disposable tableware products that provide convenience in today’s busy world. With an extensive line of disposable plates, bowls, cups and cutlery, Dixie® has solutions to help consumers stay on top of everyday life. The Bowling Green site plays an important role in the Dixie plates network, supporting both Dixie® branded and Private Label plate production.

What You Will Do:
  • Partner closely with operations and finance leaders to develop insights into cost and performance drivers, align on manufacturing priorities, and influence decisions across the Bowling Green site.
  • Build trusted relationships with site leadership and proactively identify opportunities, risks, and performance gaps, helping create and execute work plans to drive improvement.
  • Support strategic plans that improve production, spending efficiency, waste, labor productivity, and overall site performance.
  • Support operations bet tracking and performance analysis to surface improvement opportunities and elevate emerging issues early.
  • Own financial planning support, management reporting, and analytics for this manufacturing site.
  • Advance economic thinking around capital and expense investments with the manufacturing team, challenging assumptions and helping ensure decisions reflect strong economic outcomes.
  • Contribute to monthly forecasting, providing clear points of view on financial performance, variances, risks, and opportunities.
  • Create leadership and ad-hoc business presentations to support strategic initiatives and communicate insights clearly.
  • Speak up in team and leadership forums to raise concerns, share insights, and constructively challenge the status quo to improve results.

Who You Are (Basic Requirements):
  • Experience in financial analysis, accounting, operations finance, or related roles, with a strong grasp of financial concepts and economic principles.
  • Analytical thinker with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities, solving operational challenges, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with operations leaders and serve as a trusted business partner who influences decisions and drives accountability.
  • Comfort challenging assumptions, elevating risks, and voicing concerns or insights in group settings with professionalism.
  • Proficient in sourcing and analyzing large volumes of data, developing informed perspectives and practical solutions.
  • Effective communicator, capable of presenting financial concepts clearly to diverse audiences and engaging stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage priorities, lead projects, and support site-level improvement efforts.
What Will Put You Ahead:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Finance experience within a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience supporting operations teams in cost, productivity, waste, labor, or performance improvement work.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including financial modeling and data visualization.
  • Experience with data analysis/visualization tools, such as Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, and ERP systems like SAP.
  • Demonstrated ability to support strategic initiatives and drive improvement within manufacturing operations.
