Job summary

First Command Financial Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Advisor to serve an existing client ecosystem and help military families build lasting financial security.

In this Experienced Advisor Pathway, you’ll focus on planning, relationships, and long-term impact rather than cold-start prospecting, with institutional support and relocation incentives for targeted markets. You’ll deliver holistic planning across investments, retirement, risk management, taxes, and estate

Qualifications

• 5+ years of financial services experience with direct client work.
• Strong background in wealth management or advisory services.
• Entrepreneurial drive to operate an independent practice.
• Comfort in a goals-based, performance-driven environment.
• Licensing: Series 7 & 66 (or 6, 63, 65) and Life & Health license.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing, comprehensive financial guidance tailored to each client’s evolving needs.
• Deliver holistic financial plans spanning investments, retirement, risk management, tax-aware planning, and estate considerations.
• Engage existing clients and build relationships through high-touch, advisory-focused service.
• Provide a high-touch client experience with proactive planning and personalized strategies.
• Grow the practice through referrals, community engagement, and centers of influence.

What You’ll Do

Serve as a Trusted Advisor

Provide ongoing, comprehensive financial guidance tailored to each client’s evolving needs, from early career planning through retirement and legacy.

Deliver Holistic Financial Planning

Create integrated financial plans spanning: Investment and portfolio management, Retirement income strategies, Risk management and insurance solutions, Tax-aware planning, Estate and legacy considerations

Engage Existing Clients & Build Relationships

Step into an established environment where you can deepen relationships through a high-touch, advice-driven model focused on long-term outcomes.

Provide High-Touch Client Experience

Build trust through consistent communication, proactive planning, and personalized strategies that evolve alongside clients’ lives.

What Sets You Apart

• 5+ years of financial services experience, with demonstrated success working directly with clients
• Strong background in wealth management, financial planning, or advisory services
• Proven ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships
• Entrepreneurial drive with the discipline to operate an independent practice
• Comfort working in a goals-based, performance-driven environment

Licensing & Certifications

• Required: Series 7 & 66 (or 6, 63, 65) and Life & Health license

Compensation & Support

• Commission-based compensation with uncapped earning potential: residual trails, commissions, performance-based incentives and deferred compensation program
