Job summary

HawaiiUSA FCU in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Senior Financial Advisor to build lasting relationships with members and staff while delivering professional investment guidance and insurance solutions.

The role requires qualifying licenses (FINRA SIE, Series 7, 63/65/66) and insurance credentials, plus strong communication and teamwork. Starting pay is $48,000 per year with commissions, plus comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Five (5) years demonstrated experience in the sale of investment services required.
  • FINRA SIE.
  • FINRA Series 63 and 65 or 66 license(s).
  • FINRA Series 7.
  • Hawaii Life and Health Insurance licenses (required or willing to get in first 2 months).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains long-term relationships based on trust and respect for members and employees.
  • Provides professional direction for members and employees through financial profiling, including risk profiling, and asset allocation.
  • Identifies and evaluates member and employee needs for alternative financial products that are offered through Investment and Insurance Services (IIS).
  • Develops and implements individual marketing/ business plans in alignment with Investment and Insurance sales and other goals.
  • Works with other credit union staff to identify and leverage cross-sell opportunities.
  • Provides those services and products that respond to member or employee needs in alignment with the mission of the Credit Union.

The Senior Financial Advisor is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with providing professional investment advice and direction to Credit Union membership and staff. They will actively seek opportunities to increase income through proactive and effective advisement of investment and insurance products.

Key Responsibilities

Benefits and Pay

The expected starting pay for the Senior Financial Advisor is $48,000 per year plus applicable eligible commissions.
