Job summary

MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group in Urbandale, Iowa is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a Finance Transformation program on a 18-month contract. The role requires 5+ years of PM experience and a Finance/Accounting background, with hybrid on-site work Monday to Wednesday in Urbandale.

The successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional work streams, prepare executive updates, and drive the program toward the Target Operating Model for the Finance function.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10+ years of Project Management experience.
• Experience leading Finance Transformation or Finance PMO initiatives within large enterprise programs.
• A Finance or Accounting background.
• Experience coordinating multiple enterprise projects and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Excellent executive communication skills and strong Microsoft 365 expertise.
• Adaptability and a collaborative, team-oriented approach in a fast-paced organization.
• A stable employment history and the commitment to complete an 18-month assignment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support work streams within the Finance Transformation program, ensuring successful transitions and integration.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects and programs, communicating activities and dependencies across regions and functions.
• Select and use implementation documentation, including toolkits and migration schedules.
• Design strategic documents: business cases, assessments, communication plans and detailed project plans.
• Present project updates to senior Finance leadership and facilitate problem solving and decision making on key items.
• Follow project controls, manage deliverables, mitigate risks, and ensure the change control process across functions.
