Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior Finance Manager, Hardware Solutions, Plant Controller for the Duncan, SC site. You will partner with Site Management to drive financial performance, manage cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and capital exploration while ensuring strong internal controls and a robust manufacturing accounting framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment; 10+ years strongly preferred.
• In-depth cost accounting knowledge; budgeting, forecasting, internal controls.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted advisor and business partner to Site Management, providing analysis and recommendations and supporting monthly forecasts and annual budget.
• Coordinate annual standard cost updates and perform site impact analyses.
• Oversee cost accounting procedures and controls around inventory and PPV; drive reductions and turns.
• Prepare timely month-end close reporting on variances, costs, productivity, headcount, inventory, and capex.
• Monitor capital expenditure, ensure assets under construction are capitalized, and support internal/external audits.

The Senior Finance Manager, Hardware Solutions, Plant Controller serves as the primary finance business partner for Operations, and along with the Duncan and Shrewsbury Site Leadership teams, will have ownership and accountability for the financial results of the operations at the sites.

This position reports to the Senior Director, Hardware Solutions, Operations and is part of the Hardware Solutions Finance organization supporting the Duncan and Shrewsbury Manufacturing Sites, with a location in Duncan, SC and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

• Be a trusted advisor and Business Partner to Site Management providing analysis, recommendations, ensure sound financial decision making and have the skillset to build a strong partnership with Operations team. In part, this is achieved through accurate preparation of monthly forecasts and the annual budget and in partnership with Site Operations team while also coordinating the annual standard cost update and perform an annual impact analysis for the site
• Support Site Operations team in delivering annual cost reduction objectives (productivity, cost of quality/VAVE, PPV), ensuring effective controls and visibility around cost management while also overseeing cost accounting procedures.
• Enforce Inventory control policies, cycle counting etc and ensure accurate reporting and compliance whilst driving inventory reductions and/or turns improvements. Support regular risk assessment on excess and obsolete.
• Prepare timely month end close Financial and Operational reporting to include; Manufacturing variances, Costs/Absorptions, Productivity, Headcount, Inventory, Capex and Labor Utilization with clear and articulate commentary.
• Support capital request analysis and business case preparation. Closely monitor capital expenditure, ensuring controls and processes are adhered to, assessing for any financial risk or adjustments required, and ensuring that "assets under construction" are capitalized in a timely and accurate manner. Support internal SOX audit and external audit requests and coordinate ad-hoc analytics based on Site and business needs.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required; 10+ years strongly preferred
• In depth cost accounting knowledge, emphasis on budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, internal controls and familiarity with ERP systems (production modules a large benefit)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Being a self-starter and proactive, structured with demonstrated ability to deliver results consistently
