Job summary

Google LLC in the United States is hiring for a TI Finance leadership role focused on data center procurement, planning and cost optimization. You will partner with Data Center Equipment teams to shape strategy, manage capital allocation, and drive data-driven financial decisions across the data center footprint.

Applicants should bring 14+ years in FP&A or related fields, 5+ years in data centers, and a proven track record of building and leading teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data centers at hyperscaler, developer, or supplier.
• Experience building, developing and leading a team.

Job description

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 14 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
• 5 years of experience in data centers at a hyperscaler, developer, or data center supplier.
• Experience in data center infrastructure within a technology company.
• Experience building, developing and leading a team.

Preferred qualifications:

• MBA or Master's Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in managing the finance aspects of data center supply chain, construction, acquisition and operations.
• Familiarity with advanced data center equipment planning tools and methodologies.
• Ability to influence strategy decisions at an executive level.

Technical Infrastructure (TI) is the backbone of Google - the global data centers, networks and integrated hardware and software that power both Google customer products and services, including Google Cloud, and our internal operations. Google builds and operates one of the largest state-of-the-art private data center fleets in the world. It is a complex technical area with very large operating and capital budgets growing year over year.
The TI Finance mission is to partner cross-functionally drive optimal decision-making, provide insights for strategic and tactical decisions, and bend the cost curve down to provide Google with an engaging advantage.
In this position, you will partner with Data Center Equipment team responsible for the procurement and supply chain management of the equipment that powers and cools data centers such as transformers, switchgear, generators and airhandling units. You will play a key role in shaping strategy and drive efforts to ensure optimal use of Google capital to expand a rapidly growing data center footprint.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $219000 - $305000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits
