Job summary

Colliers International is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to drive financial performance and support strategic decisions across the organization. You will partner with business leaders to optimize working capital, implement robust controls, and provide insights to improve profitability.

You will develop advanced financial models, manage P&L, and collaborate with regional teams to guide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of FP&A experience in a large company, CRE preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or similar field.
  • Commercial Real Estate experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to provide financial insights for strategic decisions.
  • Act as trusted advisor to business units aligning financial goals with objectives.
  • Develop and maintain advanced financial models for forecasting and performance analysis.
  • Recruit and retain brokerage talent in partnership with regional leaders.
  • Provide data-driven insights to improve profitability and efficiency.
  • Drive initiatives to optimize working capital, reduce costs, and enhance cash generation.
  • Monitor and report on FCF performance and liquidity levers.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and variance analyses to senior leadership.
  • Conduct cost analyses to identify inefficiencies and savings opportunities.
  • Recommend strategies to improve margins and support growth initiatives.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets.

About the role:

The Senior Finance Manager will play a critical role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, a focus on P&L management, expanding Free Cash Flow (FCF), and the ability to form partnerships with business leaders to identify opportunities, manage costs, and implement robust financial controls. Working with the Regional Finance Director for the Central and Southeast Regions in providing financial insights that guide strategic and operational decisions.

In this role, you will:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to provide financial insights that guide strategic and operational decisions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business units, ensuring alignment between financial goals and organizational objectives.
  • Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support scenario planning, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Work with market leaders and regional presidents to recruit and retain brokerage talent.
  • Provide actionable insights through data-driven analysis to improve profitability and efficiency.
  • Drive initiatives to optimize working capital, reduce costs, and enhance cash generation.
  • Monitor and report on FCF performance, identifying levers to improve liquidity and long-term sustainability.
  • Engage and manage the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, variance analyses, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Conduct detailed cost analyses to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for savings.
  • Recommend strategies to improve margins and support growth initiatives.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
What you bring:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience working within Financial Planning and Analysis roles for a large company, preferably in the CRE industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or similar field.
  • Commercial Real Estate experience is preferred.
  • Strong expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis, cost management, and cash flow optimization
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders across the organization
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and analytics tools and systems
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication, with the ability to effectively interact at all organizational levels
  • Looks to solve problems, with a minimum of providing potential solutions to the issues.

Approximate CompensationRange for this Role:$119, 210to $175, 000.

Ourcompensationranges aredeterminedby role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects theminimum andmaximumtarget for new hire salaries for the position across allnationallocations. Within the range, individual pay isdeterminedby work location andadditionalfactors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Benefits

Employees (and their families) are provided options for employer subsidized medical benefits including RX, dental, vision as well as employer paid basic life/AD&D insurance and short-term / long-term disability.Employees are able to enrol in our company's 401k plan, which includes an employer match.Employees will also receive10 days of sick leave and a minimum of 15-days vacationannually. Certain senior-level roles are eligible for unlimited time off. Employees will also enjoy 10 paid holidays plus two personal flex days throughout the calendar year. Twelve weeks (for birth parents) and 4 weeks (for non-birth parents, including adoptive/foster parents) for paid parental leave will also be available for use after successful completion of90 days of employment.Individuals may be eligible for different oradditionalbenefits under applicable state law.

Bonus

This position is eligible for an annual bonus, based on company and individual performance.
