Job summary

BD is seeking a Sr. Director of Finance for the US Region within the MMS unit. This leadership role serves as a finance business partner to the VP/GM US region and oversees all finance activities of the US MMS business, including planning, reporting, forecasting and internal controls.

Based in San Diego, CA with the option for remote work and up to 25% travel, the ideal candidate holds an MBA or CPA and 15+ years of multinational finance experience, plus strong GAAP knowledge and SAP skills.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Business or Accounting; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 15+ years of accounting and financial analysis experience in a multinational company; healthcare exposure a plus.
• Strong GAAP knowledge, internal controls, and leadership of a finance team.
• Based in San Diego, CA a plus; open to remote candidates willing to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Leads development of the US 3-year strategic plan (ASR), annual budget, quarterly forecast.
• Contributes to MMS US region strategies and objectives; aligns priorities with goals.
• Provides financial insights to drive decisions and improve outcomes.
• Analyzes contracts and capital acquisitions for financial viability.
• Manages revenue recognition and accuracy of financial reporting; ensures SOX compliance.
• Leads FP&A and supports the US Region Customer Service organization.
• Develops KPIs and publishes reporting to track progress against goals.
