Job summary

Superhuman seeks a Senior Finance Analyst to partner with Engineering, Product and Design leadership to drive financial planning, reporting, and decision support. You will consolidate teams to guide resource allocation, expense management, and investment prioritization across planning cycles and long-term strategy.

You will translate complex data into clear, actionable insights, empowering leaders with accuracy and accountability in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years FP&A, strategic finance, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in economics/finance/math/statistics/engineering/computer science.
• Advanced financial modeling skills and end-to-end model building.
• Excel and Google Sheets proficient with scenario modeling.
• SQL proficiency for data extraction and integrity across sources.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and deliver on time.
• Strong analytical judgment and clear communication to influence decisions.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

We're seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to partner with Engineering, Product and Design leadership to drive financial planning, reporting, and decision support. You'll help consolidate the Engineering, Product and Design teams to guide resource allocation, expense management, and investment prioritization across both near-term planning cycles and long-term strategy. You'll translate complex data into clear, actionable insights, helping leaders evaluate trade-offs and make smart, mission-aligned decisions. As a trusted finance partner, you'll empower teams to operate with clarity and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering, Product and Design related Strategic Finance activities for the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across operating expenses and headcount
• Develop and drive reporting that includes financial performance, detailed reporting of key expense and other metrics, and executive level explanations of variances and trends
• Build scalable financial processes and use AI tools to automate reporting, accelerate analysis, and deliver real-time visibility to Engineering, Product, and Design leadership
• Lead the preparation of financial analysis, commentary, and presentation materials for financial updates to finance leadership
• Collaborate cross-functionally across teams and functions to ensure alignment and financial rigor behind investment strategies.
• Collaborate with Business Unit Finance teams to improve and operationalize processes related to headcount planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses, scenario planning, and driver-based modeling to support strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), strategic finance, or related fields
• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Math, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
• Advanced financial modeling skills, with the ability to independently build end-to-end, assumption-driven models from scratch
• Expert-level Excel and/or Google Sheets skills, including scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and automation of recurring analyses
• Proficient in SQL, with hands-on experience writing complex queries, performing data extraction and transformation, and maintaining data integrity across sources
• Ability to prioritize objectives in a fast-paced environment to ensure deliverables are met in a timely manner
• Ability to distill complex problems into structured frameworks and actionable insights
• Proven track record of influencing business decisions through data, clear communication, and strong analytical judgment
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and collaboration skills

Base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The expected salary ranges for this position are outlined below by compensation zone and may be modified in the future.
