Colgate-Palmolive Company is hiring a Senior Finance Analyst to join our global finance team at plants in Greenwood, SC and Sanford, ME. You will own cost accounting, inventory governance, and fixed asset processes, shaping product cost structures and capital investments through SAP-driven analysis.

You will influence pricing, expense management, and profitability while driving month-end close excellence and SOX compliance across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cost Accounting, Plant Finance, or General Ledger operations within manufacturing, CPG, or industrial environments.
• Proficiency in SAP and Advanced Excel (pivots, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, data modeling).
• Understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and fixed asset accounting principles.
• Willingness to travel to Sanford, Maine at least twice per year for business reviews.

Responsibilities

• Execute new product costing, annual CO budget planning, and periodic cost revisions while analyzing actual vs. budget cost variances to optimize plant performance.
• Lead technical month-end CO closing activities, allocate overhead costs, and manage inventory reserves (including SLOB).
• Oversee the end-to-end fixed asset lifecycle—capitalization, retirements, and ledger reconciliations, plus depreciation forecasting.
• Perform internal control assessments, maintain audit-ready documentation, and mitigate risk per global SOX standards.
• Leverage SAP tools and data analytics to resolve cost center discrepancies and prepare monthly costing reports.
• Serve as the lead financial partner for the Sanford, Maine manufacturing facility.
