Chemours in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Finance team. You will lead cash flow forecasts, analyze variances, and provide decision-support to leadership across the business.

This role requires a Bachelor's in accounting or finance, 5+ years of related experience, GAAP knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with treasury and cross-functional partners to improve liquidity, financial performance, and forecasting accuracy through process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 5+ years of business finance, accounting or strategic financial experience.
• Experience owning enterprise cash forecasting and liquidity planning.
• Strong understanding of GAAP financial statements.
• Knowledge of non-GAAP KPIs like Adjusted EBITDA and Free Cash Flow.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual cash flow forecasts to support liquidity planning.
• Evaluate forecast assumptions, identify risks, and communicate impacts to leadership.
• Analyze cash performance against forecasts and drive forecast accuracy improvements.
• Monitor working capital drivers: AR, AP, inventory and balance sheet items.

Chemours is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing Finance team. This position will be available at the NA-US Wilmington Office in Wilmington, DE and report directly to the Finance Senior Manager.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual cash flow forecasts to support liquidity planning and strategic decision-making.


• Evaluate forecast assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and proactively communicate impacts to leadership.


• Analyze actual cash performance against forecasts, identify key drivers of variances, and implement improvements that increase forecast accuracy.


• Monitor and analyze key working capital drivers, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory, and other balance sheet accounts.


• Partner with Treasury to ensure forecast assumptions align with actual financial results and reporting.


• Provide decision support through value added analysis and financial insights.


• Provide recommendations for operational improvements that positively impact liquidity and financial performance.


• Enhancing forecast accuracy while pressure testing cash flow assumptions by Business segments.


• Preparing ad hoc scenario analysis where applicable.


• Build strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders to improve financial visibility and accountability or provide support.


• Aiding in data and process refinement, simplifying, and automating routine tasks.

The following is required for this role:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related area of study.


• 5 plus years of business finance/accounting/strategic financial experience.


• Demonstrated experience owning enterprise cash forecasting and liquidity planning processes.


• A strong understanding of GAAP financial statements (i.e. Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Cash Flows, etc.).


• A strong understanding of non-GAAP financial KPI's (i.e. Adj. EBITDA, Free Cash Flows, Adj. Net Income).


• Results driven, forward looking and out of the box thinking.


• Ability to work under the pressure of multiple competing priorities.


• Facility to identify and implement process improvements


• Organized, accurate and detail oriented.


• Analytical and continuous improvement mindset


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.


• Desire to work in multi-cultural, global environments


• Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills. Must be comfortable with exposure to Business and Finance Leadership.


• A clear understanding of core financial systems: Power BI, Excel, SAP, SAP Analytics for MS Office, SAP PCA, SAP FI), and Microsoft Office.

The following is preferred for this role:

• An ability to work independently and maintain accountability, possessing the ability to learn business and company processes, with a focus on continuous improvement.


• Work well in teams with an ability to interact at all levels of the organization.


• Previous experience in a multi-national manufacturing company with a focus on Financial Analysis.
