Job summary

ZEISS in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to shape how leadership reads the business, from sales trends and margin performance to strategic commercial bets. This high-visibility role partners with sales, marketing, and commercial strategy to turn data into actionable insights.

You will build forward-looking financial models, produce monthly and quarterly reports, and own KPI dashboards. A CPA/CMA is a plus; 7+ years in financial analysis with Excel and ERP systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of financial analysis experience, ideally in a sales-focused, commercial environment.
• A track record of turning sales, margin, and commercial analysis into findings senior leaders act on.
• Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI, SAP, Oracle, or Hyperion is a plus.
• A communicator who can translate complex financial detail into a story anyone can follow.
• A self-starter who thrives on ownership, juggles competing priorities, and sweats the details.
• CMA, CPA, or similar certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sales & margin analysis to uncover trends and opportunities.
• Analyze contracts, pricing strategy, and market conditions to unlock revenue and profitability.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.
• Build dashboards and monitor KPIs; ensure data accuracy.
