Job summary

GEOTEK seeks a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to own filament winding technology, lead multimillion-dollar capital projects, and design next-generation equipment and production cells. You will work with operations and executives to scale a proprietary process and create manufacturing systems that endure.

You will set technical direction, mentor engineers and production teams, and drive safety, quality, and productivity improvements across the site.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in continuous processing manufacturing (composites/filament winding a plus).
• Strong CAD skills with GD&T per ANSI Y14.5.
• Proven lean/process improvement mindset.
• Ownership of projects from concept through implementation.
• Hands-on problem solver who can run multiple projects independently.
• Clear communicator with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction of filament winding processes.
• Design and develop new manufacturing equipment, tooling, and automation.
• Lead capital projects end to end—scope, budget, schedule, commissioning, startup.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement permanent fixes.
• Drive process improvements for safety, quality, productivity, and capacity.
• Partner with suppliers on non-off-the-shelf solutions.
• Develop standards and training documentation; mentor teams.
