Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a Welding Engineer in Nevada. This role focuses on implementing and maintaining welding programs, ensuring compliance with standards. The ideal candidate will have a degree and significant experience in welding and NDE, particularly in heavy industrial applications. Competitive salary range of $105,000 - $160,200 annually along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of direct hire welding and NDE on Bechtel projects.
• Heavy industrial construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Bechtel Field Welding program.
• Manage and monitor the welding test lab.
• Perform field inspections and advise on quality defects.

Skills

Direct hire welding experience

Knowledge of AWS and API codes

NDE certifications including VT, PT, MT

Collaboration and problem-solving skills

Experience in LNG construction

Education

Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent
