Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking Senior Technicians to anchor our most important placements, leading pours and special inspections on structural work. You will mentor junior technicians, interface with engineers and building officials, and own the quality of the record on projects where stakes are high.

You will lead testing on mat pours starting at 3 a.m., post-tensioned decks, deep foundation observation, and masonry and steel inspections under IBC programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CMT or special inspection experience.
• ICC Reinforced Concrete or Soils, NICET II+ or ACI certifications.
• Willing to travel for defined project programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead fresh-concrete testing and special inspection on structural work.
• Mentor and check junior field technicians; coordinate with engineers and officials.
• Document inspections per project IBC programs and maintain the record.
• Coordinate daily with superintendents, engineers, and officials; support multi-state deployments.
• Travel for defined project programs across multiple states.
