A dynamic engineering and surveying firm in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Survey Party Chief. This position involves running and supervising a field crew, preparing field notes, and utilizing advanced survey equipment. Candidates are expected to have at least 5 years of relevant experience, particularly with robotic total stations. The firm offers a competitive pay range of $45-$50 per hour along with excellent benefits. Willingness to travel within NJ and adjoining states is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Party Chief.
• Experience with Leica robotic total stations is favorable.
• Wide range of experience in topographic/boundary survey.
• Must be willing to travel within NJ and adjoining states.

Responsibilities

• Run and supervise a one or two man field crew.
• Prepare field notes, sketches and photos.
• Collect and code data for various surveys.
• Utilize robotic total stations and GPS.
• Adhere to company protocols for survey equipment.

Skills

Experience with Leica robotic total stations

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Laser Scanning Experience

Valid driver's license
