Job summary

Blue Ridge Executive Search is seeking a qualified Superintendent to oversee field operations on large-scale projects. You will coordinate subcontractors, review construction documents, and ensure safety and quality on site.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of field superintendent experience, hands-on project management for $6M+ projects, and strong organizational and leadership skills to drive safety and schedule success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of previous field superintendent experience.
• Clear understanding of the construction process and hands-on experience managing projects $6 million or larger.
• Strong organization and leadership skills and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction activities among subcontractors and project staff.
• Ensure construction complies with Construction Documents.
• Supervise site safety and enforce the project safety plan.
• Assess staffing of subcontractors and field workforce.
• Assess supplies of materials and equipment.
• Assist in establishing and monitoring the project schedule.
• Develop and administer site utilization, services, safety plan, and security arrangements.
• Monitor performance and ensure subcontractors provide adequate workforce and hours.
