Job summary

Development Solutions, Inc. seeks a Field Superintendent to oversee daily construction operations at Illinois sites. You will manage subcontractors, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with the Project Management Team to meet milestones.

The role requires strong communication skills, five years of supervisory experience in commercial interiors and related sectors, and proficiency with Procore, MS Project, and MS Office. Travel within Illinois may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years project supervision experience in commercial interiors, restaurant, retail, healthcare, or industrial new construction.
• Extensive knowledge of scheduling, cost control, and safety procedures.
• Ability to travel as needed within Illinois.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and Procore.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of construction projects.
• Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed.
• Communicate project progress with clients and project managers.
• Manage subcontractors and construction site organization.
• Lead and participate in weekly project construction meetings.
• Establish effective working relationships with Owner, Building Manager, foremen, and subcontractors.
