Job summary

USA Compression Partners, LP is seeking a Lead Service Technician (LST) to perform maintenance and service on natural gas compression equipment with minimal supervision. You will lead Field Service Technicians, serve as the subject matter expert, and drive safety and reliability across customer sites.

The role requires 7+ years in gas compression, CAT/Ariel/Cummins familiarity, and the ability to travel up to 75%. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of gas compression experience with CAT/Ariel/Cummins preferred.
• CAT Gas Engine II, Troubleshooting, Electronics certifications; CAT 3500/3600, ADEM 3/4, Ariel Mechanics 1/2.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR history.

Responsibilities

• Involved in start-ups, major maintenance, significant failures, overhauls, and high-end troubleshooting.
• Lead and mentor Field Service Technicians; act as SME and role model.
• Ensure run time of natural gas compression units per contractual agreements.
• Respond quickly to customer inquiries and coordinate with the ASM.
• Travel and operate company vehicle safely; maintain a clean work site.
