Job summary

Xylem is seeking an experienced Senior Diesel Mechanic to join our Salt Lake City service center. You will support inspection, diagnosis, repair, and rebuild work on Godwin diesel pump systems, with a focus on Caterpillar and John Deere engines.

This shop-based role follows a Monday–Friday schedule (7:00 AM–4:00 PM) with occasional weekend work. Candidates should have 3+ years of diesel engine experience and the ability to safely operate standard hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Three (3) or more years of diesel engine experience preferred.
• Experience with Caterpillar and John Deere diesel engines preferred.
• Familiarity with Godwin diesel pump engines (such as 6068, 6090, and 4045 series) is a plus.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, diesel, and electrical issues.
• Need to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support inspection, diagnosis, repair, and rebuilding of Godwin diesel pump systems.
• Work primarily in a shop environment with a focus on diesel engines and related equipment.
