Job summary

ElDorado National California Inc. in Maui, HI is seeking a Field Service Technician III to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on transit vehicles. As a Master-level technician, you will lead service projects, provide remote and on-site support, and mentor junior technicians.

You will travel frequently (approx. 70%) to customer sites and company facilities, contribute to product improvements, and deliver technical training when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 5+ years of service/repair experience in manufacturing or automotive.
• Valid driver's license; commercial license ability required.
• ASE, EPA certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Lead complex service or repair projects with minimal supervision.
• Calibrate, repair, and maintain critical system components and safety equipment.
• Mentor and train junior service technicians.
• Provide remote and on-site technical assistance.
• Complete and review service documentation for accuracy.
• Travel to customer sites and company facilities; coordinate with engineering/OEM partners.
• Participate in training to stay up to date with evolving technologies.
