Qualifications

• Two-year associate degree or higher in applied science or equivalent military training.
• Ability to perform operational verification procedures, planned maintenance, and repair on medical equipment in a hospital setting.
• Understanding of regulatory agencies’ requirements, industry regulatory requirements and International Standard Organization standards.
• Familiarity with the setup and application of test equipment.
• Experience in healthcare/biomedical equipment environment.
• Background and drug screen required.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a variety of biomedical equipment in a hospital setting.
• Calibrate and test medical devices to ensure accuracy and safety.
• Document all service activities, including repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
• Assist in the installation and setup of new biomedical equipment.
• Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to understand equipment needs and provide technical support.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
