Job summary

Dyne Therapeutics is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to act as a field-based scientific resource, engaging healthcare professionals, KOLs, and stakeholders to advance clinical practice in neuromuscular diseases. The role emphasizes strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and support for investigator-initiated and company-sponsored studies.

The MSL will lead regional medical strategies, foster relationships with KOLs, and mentor junior staff while traveling

Qualifications

Advanced scientific degree (MD/PhD/NP/PharmD/PA) or equivalent.
10+ years of MSL experience preferred.
Clinical experience in neuromuscular disorders (DMD/DM1) preferred.
Strong knowledge of investigational products and neuromuscular space.
Understanding of clinical trial and investigator-sponsored study processes.
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent communication and relationship-building with KOLs.

Responsibilities

Build awareness of the company within the medical community and develop KOL/territory engagement plans.
Support clinical research, speaker development, and training as needed.
Demonstrate knowledge of investigational products and current medical research.
Maximize attendance at conferences to gather insights and strengthen relationships.
Collaborate cross-functionally to advance medical and business goals.
Develop regional medical strategies aligned with company goals.
Lead KOL engagement strategies and identify new scientific leaders.
Mentor junior MSLs and provide strategic leadership within the team.
Manage top-tier KOL relationships and inform medical strategies.
Maintain CRM data accuracy and complete administrative tasks efficiently.
