Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Senior Technician to anchor critical inspections of structural concrete, deep foundations, masonry, and steel. You will lead pours, mentor junior technicians, and own the inspection record on projects where accuracy matters.

You will coordinate with engineers, building officials, and superintendents, travel for defined programs, and help maintain compliance with IBC special inspection requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CMT or special inspection experience.
• ICC Reinforced Concrete or Soils, NICET Level II+ or ACI certifications.
• Ability to own the testing record on major placements.
• Willing to travel for defined project programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead fresh-concrete testing and special inspection on structural work.
• Mentor and check junior field technicians; coordinate daily with superintendents, engineers, and officials.
• Maintain and document inspection records; ensure accuracy during audits and reviews.
• Support multi-state deployments on a project basis and liaise with officials as needed.
