Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Omaha is looking for a Senior Construction Inspector to join their team. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma and preferably a Concrete and Density Testing certification. Responsibilities include conducting field inspections, monitoring construction operations, and maintaining documentation. Excellent communication skills, as well as experience with heavy civil or tunnel projects, are required. Qualifications

• Candidates must have a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license.
• Concrete and density testing certification is preferred.
• Candidates must have experience on heavy civil and/or tunnel projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections.
• Record inspection daily reports.
• Monitor construction operations.
• Act as the on-site liaison with client and community.
• Organize and maintain construction documentation.
• Develop an understanding of plans and specifications.
• Assist Project Manager with contract requirements.
• Prepare forms and other paperwork in a timely manner.
• Attend seminars and/or training courses.
• Maintain excellent client relations.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
