Job summary

PC Construction is seeking a Senior Field Engineer to support multiple Florida water division projects. This role emphasizes field layout, survey data collection, and hands-on problem solving to keep projects on track.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with 5+ years’ related field experience or a 4-year engineering or surveying degree with internship. Strong knowledge of surveying tools, AutoCAD basics, and BIM familiarity is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with 5+ years field engineer experience; engineering degree preferred.
• Experience with water/wastewater projects preferred; internship or 1 year construction experience acceptable.
• Ability to establish and maintain field engineering layout controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform site engineering on mid to small projects with project team oversight.
• Supervise field engineer assistants and operate surveying equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and submittals.
• Prepare as-built drawings and post RFI responses on project records.
• Set accurate horizontal and vertical control for layout; compute quantities as needed.
