Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of field engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8–10+ years including major, complex, multi-site, or partner supported delivery preferred.
• 3+ years overseeing complex field delivery, field leads, subcontractors, or partner execution.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
• Strong technical knowledge within Field Engineering and related delivery disciplines.
• Experience reviewing scope, drawings, standards, quality evidence, and technical changes.
• Technical certifications preferred.
• Ability to exercise technical authority and judgment.
• Experience with quality and acceptance management.
• Risk identification and escalation expertise.
• Complex execution planning experience.
• Partner oversight responsibilities.
• Cross-functional communication with stakeholders.
• Customer-facing technical leadership experience.
• Ability to balance speed, quality, and commercial discipline.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to deliver services consistent with Winning Together values.
• Define Field Engineering execution approach and quality requirements.
• Provide technical direction to Implementation Specialists, field resources, and partners.
• Evaluate field conditions and determine escalation or change paths.
• Maintain visibility to execution progress, issues, quality risks, and field exceptions.
• Support resource, sequencing, readiness, and recovery planning from a technical perspective.
• Resolve or escalate technical issues to protect schedule and quality.
• Ensure off-design, off-schedule, unsafe, or out-of-scope conditions are addressed.
• Establish inspections, testing, documentation, artifacts, and acceptance criteria.
• Review work quality and completion evidence; require correction before acceptance.
• Provide Field Engineering sign-off and confirm partner work before demobilization.
• Oversee partner execution and identify capability/quality concerns.
• Collaborate with Project Manager on risk, issue, change, and customer communications.
• Partner with Solutions and estimating teams to improve assumptions and future scope quality.
• Provide feedback to Practice Leads on workforce proficiency and gaps.
