The systems may be used directly by our customers or by Motorola Solutions to deliver Managed Services to our customers. You will work in the post sales phases of projects as well as support multiple projects in parallel depending on size and complexity.## Job DescriptionThe Field Engineer role forms part of multi-disciplined project teams to design and deliver complex mission critical voice and data systems. The systems may be used directly by our customers or by Motorola Solutions to deliver Managed Services to our customers. The Field Engineers work in the post sales phases of projects and may support multiple projects in a given period depending on size and complexity. There may also be a requirement to provide support to Pre-sales and Services Organization.The key responsibilities of the Senior Field Engineer :· Manage and/or perform implementation of communication system solutions and services which satisfy the requirements of the customer, end user and operator· Lead or participate in Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) while coordinating the technical aspects of the acceptance testing.· Responsible for the installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of MSI and 3rd party solutions (with support from supplier/vendor)· Responsible for identifying, investigating and troubleshooting of technical issues during project implementation· Responsible for on-site Acceptance Tests, while coordinating the technical aspects of the acceptance testing.· Update of technical documentation and technical change management· Communications - Attend customer meetings, status updates, provide project reporting.· Responsible for self development through an agreed training plan,experience and knowledge transfer.· Interface, communicate, and coordinate the customer, partner, sub-contractor on project deployment and best practices where required.· Ensure the project is delivered to the Motorola Solutions Quality, Health and Safety standards.## Basic Requirements· Fluent in English and Polish.· At least 3 years of professional engineering experience in Telecommunication System, IP Transport Network, IT, Field Service, Technical Support or those equivalent.· Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Juniper Network Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA) or higher certification· Excellent knowledge in Operating System and Application (Unix, Window, Virtualization Technology etc)· Good knowledge in Radio Frequency (Base Station TX/RX, Mobile /Portable Radio, RF test equipment )· Manual skills for field work like wiring, soldering, physical installation of equipment in addition to commissioning and testing tasks.· Valid Driving license· Availability and willingness to travel (80%), inside and outside residence country;· Willingness to obtain relevant Security Clearance to enter customer site.· A University degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field is preferred but not required We value skills, experience and demonstrated ability over formal qualification.Experience in one or more of the following would be added advantage:· Motorola Solutions' Mission Critical communication technology e.g. DIMETRA and WAVE/Kodiak· Video Security Solutions· Command and Control Systems· Voice Logging technology· LTE RAN and EPC integration and test## Travel RequirementsOver 75%## Relocation ProvidedDomestic## Position TypeExperienced## Referral Payment PlanYes## **Company**Motorola Solutions Systems Polska Sp.z.o.o***EEO Statement***Motorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
