Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Engineering Technician to support FAA TSSC-5 across various U.S. sites. You will perform installation, testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on NAS-related electronic systems, following FAA directives and project plans.

The role requires traveling within the USA and collaborating with senior staff to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. Responsibilities include installing racks, testing cables, reading schematics, and maintaining logs per contract

Qualifications

High school diploma is required.
May require repetitive movement such as lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, and standing.
Must be able to meet customer security requirements. A background check by federal authorities will be performed.
Must be able to travel up to 100% within the USA.

Responsibilities

Install, relocate, and remove electronic systems and equipment per drawings and standards.
Troubleshoot and repair systems to unit, board, or module level using standard test equipment.
Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Assist in field installations and site work under TSSC-5 and ensure proper documentation of actions.
Follow FAA and Parsons safety policies and QA procedures and collaborate with team members.
