Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Electronics Technician III to support the FAA under the TSSC-5 contract. You will install, test, troubleshoot, and repair a range of electronic systems across the NAS, with travel across the USA and strict adherence to FAA safety and security requirements.

The role involves reading manuals, schematics, and orders, coordinating with senior staff, and documenting maintenance logs and test results. A background check by federal authorities will be performed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Must be able to travel up to 100% within the USA.
• Background check by federal authorities will be performed.
• Must meet customer security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, relocate, and remove electronic systems and equipment (NAVAIDS, communications systems, surveillance and support systems).
• Troubleshoot and repair systems to unit, board, or module level using standard test equipment.
• Read schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and FAA orders.
• Assist with field installations and site work under TSSC‑5, including pre-installation checks and testing.
• Use test instruments, perform basic measurements, and ensure proper calibration.
