Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Residential Property Claims Field Adjuster in the Tampa, FL area to promptly service and close homeowner claims. You will inspect properties, evaluate coverages, and work with insureds, agencies, and experts to move claims to resolution.

Applicants must hold a Florida All-Lines Adjuster License (620) and have 3+ years of field adjusting experience, with proficiency in Xactimate and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of homeowners claims field adjusting experience handling all perils.
• Florida All-Lines Adjuster License (620) required.
• Proficient with Xactimate and sketching, including mobile applications (iPad).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work under deadlines.
• Must be located within a commutable distance to Tampa, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Promptly and courteously service residential property claims
• Contact insureds and agencies and follow through on claims
• Communicate with policyholders, public adjusters, attorneys, vendors, and experts to foster timely claim resolution
• Identify, analyze, and resolve coverage issues
• Investigate the facts and cause of loss
• Determine coverage based on policies and endorsements
• Maintain accurate progressive claim-handling file documentation
• Prepare coverage and payment letters to settle and conclude claims
• Conduct on-site inspections of insured properties
• Travel regularly within the assigned territory
