Crawford & Company in Seattle, WA is seeking a Casualty General Adjuster for a field-based role. You will investigate and resolve complex casualty claims from assignment to final resolution, review coverage, liability, and policy language to determine the best action, and partner with clients, vendors, and field teams to support audits.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of casualty claims experience, a valid driver's license, state licensing as required, and the ability to manage files

Qualificações

• 4 Year college (Bachelor's Degree) required.
• 7+ years casualty claims experience required.
• Knowledge of policy forms and coverage interpretation needed.
• Must be licensed as required by state and local jurisdictions with valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Client interaction via phone and email/reporting.
• Outside field and vendor direction/interaction.
• Direct file handling and claims data collection.
• Examines claims forms, policies and endorsements to determine coverages.
• Prepares client reports and supports audits.
• Settles claims by determining coverage, liability and processing settlements.
• Controls claims costs and budget for field investigations.
• Determines if litigation is necessary.
