Job summary

Moodro seeks a Senior Field Applications Engineer to lead the technical execution of customer demonstrations, field evaluations, and partner integration tests. As the primary technical owner for field events, you will ensure all equipment and scenarios are prepared, executed, and improved, with heavy travel and close collaboration with project management.

You'll work in a dynamic defense-focused environment, coordinating with engineering, customers, and field staff to deliver mission-ready

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline is required.
• 5+ years of experience in field engineering, field applications engineering, systems integration, or similar environments.
• Experience planning and executing customer demonstrations, field testing, or system deployments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in hardware and fielded systems.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% and work in demanding field environments.
• U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (Green Card) required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical planning and execution of demonstrations, field evaluations, and internal testing events.
• Translate technical requirements into equipment plans, execution strategies, and objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering to prepare, test, and deploy equipment on-site, verified and mission-ready.
• Serve as the primary technical interface with customers, test officers, and partners.
• Troubleshoot and perform field repairs to minimize downtime and ensure success.
• Coordinate technical personnel and align on objectives and execution.
• Prepare daily reports documenting outcomes, issues, and lessons learned.
