Job summary

Landmark Implement, Inc in Holdrege, NE is seeking an experienced Service Technician to perform advanced diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance on agricultural and turf equipment.

The role requires 3+ years of repair experience and strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, plus the ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions. CDL and forklift licenses are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience performing service repairs
• Advanced repairs using special tools following Technical Manual procedures
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems in agricultural and turf equipment
• Excellent skills operating diagnostic vehicles and equipment
• Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions
• Valid driver's license; CDL and forklift license preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment and established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products
• Participates in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
• Mentors Service Technician trainees
• Conducts or supports customer clinics
• Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
• Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment
• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
• Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
• Accounts for all time and all material used in performing assigned duties
• Performs diagnosis and repair in the field
