Job summary

Vasion is seeking a Staff Solutions Engineer to act as the technical authority behind every deal, guiding prospects from IT leaders to agency executives. You will shape deal strategy, lead demos and POCs, and ensure secure, compliant implementations across IL4-IL6 environments.

You will own technical strategy across high-impact domains, conduct discovery with stakeholders, and collaborate with Services on SOWs while mentoring the team and surfacing field insights to drive product and practice

Qualifications

• 7+ years in presales Solutions Engineering for SaaS or enterprise software with DoD or federal account experience
• Proven track record running POCs and technical evaluations in complex, strategic, classified or restricted federal environments
• English proficiency; additional languages valued for allied engagements

Responsibilities

• Own technical strategy across high-impact solution domains, driving systemic wins and enabling scale
• Lead technical discovery across stakeholders to map objectives and success criteria for strategic planning
• Build and deliver tailored demos and sandbox environments with clear success criteria and exit gates
• Provide technical leadership in deals, propose reference architectures across IT, classified, and IL4-IL6 environments
• Articulate differentiators and provide reusable assets for AEs, partners, and SEs
• Mentor and enable the team on discovery and demo craftsmanship
