Job summary

Touro University California is seeking a Federal Grants Administrator (Post-Award) to manage post-award financial administration for federally funded programs, including NIH mechanisms, ensuring compliance with 2 CFR 200 and sponsor requirements.

You will coordinate reporting, cost allowability, subawards, and award closeout, partnering with PIs, Finance, HR, and the OSP team to safeguard institutional funds and promote efficient grant management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years in sponsored programs administration with federal grants.
• Knowledge of Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200) and post-award processes.
• Experience with NIH grants, RPPRs, and subaward administration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and fiscal compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as post-award administrator for federal awards, including NIH mechanisms (P01s, Centers, cooperative agreements).
• Ensure compliance with 2 CFR 200, NIH policy statements, and sponsor regulations.
• Monitor expenditures for allowability and reasonableness; approve transactions.
• Manage award modifications, carryforwards, no-cost extensions, and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate award setup and maintenance across multi-project awards and subawards.
• Prepare interim/final financial reports and sponsor reporting (RPPRs).
• Oversee drawdowns, invoicing, and federal cash management.
• Provide risk assessment to prevent overspending and support closeout.
