Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Required)
• 10 years related experience (Required)
• A minimum 5 years project management experience (Required)
• Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (PE or P.Eng)
• MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience would be plus)
• Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills

Aufgaben

• Lead Federal DB and PDB assignments from capture and preconstruction through design, construction support, and closeout.
• Serve as the primary interface with the design-builder, Federal owner, internal alternative delivery project team, teaming partners, and subconsultants.
• Establish clear Project Manager, Design Manager, Quality Manager, and discipline-lead responsibilities.
• Integrate design progress with estimate maturity, procurement, construction sequencing, staffing, and risk.
• Lead design-to-budget, constructability, value-analysis, design-validation, and package-release activities.
• Manage designer-of-record scope boundaries, contract flow-downs, change entitlement, contingency, and commercial exposure.
• Coordinate delegated-design requirements and design integration with trade partners and specialty designers.
• Drive timely decisions and elevate unresolved technical, commercial, quality, or schedule risks.
• Apply HDR’s quality, safety, and project management requirements, including QA/QC throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate project staffing and workload with operational and business leadership to effectively utilize resources and meet project commitments.
• Lead pursuit-to-project transition so proposal commitments, assumptions, innovations, exclusions, and risks are transferred into the execution plan.
• Develop relationships with priority Federal design-build contractors and support opportunity-specific positioning.
