Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience applying contracting knowledge to execute contracting programs.
• Experience administering contracts for Construction, Architectural/Engineering, Environmental, Services and Supplies.
• Developing strategies to maximize government value and minimize risk in contracting.
• Education requirements: Bachelor's degree or approved exemption as detailed in the vacancy.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and contracting authority for national, regional, and interagency acquisition programs assigned to the Huntington District.
• Provide specialized acquisition support to national programs such as the USACE Dam Safety Center and Planning Center of Expertise.
• Provide specialized acquisition support to regional programs such as the Regional Repair Fleet and Regional Channel Maintenance Team Mechanical Dredge Support.
• Develop long-range organizational plans, assign work, set priorities, and balance workload to support district and enterprise programs.
• Represent Huntington District in meetings with senior officials from USACE Headquarters, other districts, and Federal/state agencies and contractors.
