Job summary

Larson Design Group is seeking a Senior Architect for Federal Projects to lead design leadership and technical oversight on government programs. The role requires delivering secure, compliant, and high-quality designs from concept to completion, mentoring staff, and guiding QA/QC across phases.

Ideal candidates bring 12+ years of experience, RA licensure, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SketchUp, and Photoshop, with strong leadership and coordination skills.

Qualifications

• NAAB-accredited B.Arch or M.Arch required.
• Minimum 12 years of job-related experience.
• Registered Architect with NCARB certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and architectural design of complex federal projects with advanced expertise.
• Review and coordinate deliverables to ensure compliance with federal standards.
• Prepare construction documents meeting federal requirements and security needs.
• Apply federal, state, local codes and agency criteria to resolve design issues.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders across project phases.
• Conduct final QA/QC reviews ensuring high-quality outputs for federal clients.
• Support proposals, scope definition, and labor-hour estimating with technical insight.
• Serve as primary liaison with federal agencies translating objectives into design solutions.
• Mentor staff, promote technical excellence and continuous improvement.
