Center for Popular Democracy seeks a Senior Fightback Campaigner, Federal Advocacy to expand the network's base and move people to action. You will build relationships with congressional offices, coordinate lobby trainings, and develop campaigns across housing, immigration, and health priorities.

The role involves traveling 4–6 times per month to attend trainings and meetings, including Capitol Hill, and working closely with Fightback, Organizing, and Communications teams to advance justice

Qualifikationen

• Significant experience with inside strategy in Congress and understanding of appropriations and congressional processes.
• Experience connecting advocacy and organizing to bottom-up change.
• Experience writing policy memos, briefs, and sense-making materials for varied audiences.
• Fluency in Spanish or strong bilingual capabilities.
• Proven ability to build relationships and move people into action.

Aufgaben

• Develop and sustain relationships with key staffers in Members of Congress to advance priorities.
• Lead, train, and coordinate lobby trainings and lobby days in Washington, D.C.
• Support inside strategy to advance housing, immigration, and health priorities.
• Guide affiliates in campaigns and build alliances with external groups.
• Plan and execute campaigns, trainings, and events to expand the network’s base.
