Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks a Senior Engineer, FE Central QA, to safeguard product integrity and drive quality improvements across ID1/Fab4 operations.

You will own containment, risk assessment, and disposition processes, while supporting new product qualifications and employing AI-enabled analytics to boost QA effectiveness and operational efficiency. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills with experience supporting product disposition and quality issue resolution.
• Experience working with quality systems, inspection methodologies, sampling plans, statistical process control (SPC), or compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete product containment, risk assessment, and disposition processes to maintain product quality, reliability, and customer protection.
• Develop, evaluate, and revise quality assurance methods and protocols. Apply these methods to inspect and test in-process materials, production equipment, and finished products. Ensure they meet company standards and applicable laws.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Monitor, analyze, and report quality performance metrics, inspection data, defect trends, and process indicators to support operational and business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with established manufacturing inspection, sampling, SPC, and quality management system requirements, including support for documentation, records management, and audits.
