Job summary

Marex is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer – FCM Advisor to provide real-time compliance advisory services for the FCM business and related IBs, GIBs, and Swap Dealers. The role focuses on regulatory liaison, policy development, and ensuring adherence to US rules in a dynamic trading environment.

The ideal candidate will lead regulatory filings, assess new products for compliance, and support desk heads with regulatory matters while maintaining Marex’s high standards of integrity and risk

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of financial markets.
• Data analysis and interpretation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Existing compliance experience in a financial markets context.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field is required.
• Experience in regulated environments and knowledge of risk and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide FCM compliance advisory support to front office teams across day-to-day activities.
• Lead preparation and submission of key regulatory filings and manage regulatory relationships for the US FCM business line.
• Review, draft and enhance US FCM Policies, Procedures, and Written Supervisory Procedures.
• Field FCM business questions.
• Support Desk Heads with FCM-related compliance matters.
• Review new business initiatives, products, and markets for compliance before launch.
• Collaborate to ensure Compliance Calendar deadlines are achieved.
• Ensure compliance with SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges.
• Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role.
