Job summary

Armanino Advisory LLC is seeking a Senior Consultant to join the Family Office Outsourcing team in Illinois. You will lead day-to-day accounting across multiple entities, manage investment and trust accounting, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with senior leadership and clients.

The role offers exposure to complex equity structures, alternative investments, and broad client engagements, with opportunities for career growth within family office or private client services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Experience managing accounting for 10–50+ entities in multi-entity environments.
• Exposure to investment accounting and alternative investments.
• CPA designation or progress toward certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to present financial information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations for multiple clients including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and close.
• Manage accounting across multiple entities and intercompany transactions.
• Oversee investment, fund, and trust accounting including complex equity structures.
• Communicate with executives and clients regarding close, issues, and deliverables.
• Mentor staff accountants on family office processes and engagements.
• Onboard new clients and assist with process setup and training.
• Support accounting software implementations or integrations.
• Contribute to tax matters for corporate and business owners as applicable.
