The role emphasizes careful handling of financial statements, pleadings, and client communications while maintaining strict deadlines.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate degree or equivalent, be able to obtain a Notary Commission, and be proficient with Colorado e-filing and MS Office.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s degree or equivalent job experience.
• 5+ years experience as a Family Law paralegal.
• Ability to obtain Notary Commission Certificate.

Aufgaben

• Draft, read, and interpret sworn financial statements.
• Review client financial documents for legal proceedings.
• Draft, proofread, and review pleadings.
• Schedule hearings, conferences, mediations in consult with attorney.
• Prepare and submit court filings accurately and timely.
• Communicate with clients, answer questions, request information and provide support as needed.
• Ensure accuracy in billing, time entry, calendaring, and file management.
• Prepare discovery and trial exhibits.
• Maintain current knowledge of Colorado courts and local jurisdictions.
• Calculate accurate deadlines and docket them using electronic calendaring systems.
