Caris Life Sciences is seeking a Senior Facilities Technician to ensure the operation, maintenance, and reliability of building systems across multiple locations, including regulated laboratories and offices.

The Senior Facilities Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, repair, and reliability of building systems supporting regulated laboratory, warehouse, and office environments across multiple locations. This position performs preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, and environmental monitoring to ensure facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable requirements. The role serves as a technical resource for the Facilities team and works closely with internal stakeholders, Property Management, contractors, and vendors to support reliable facility operations and business needs.
Must possess ability to sit, stand, and/or work at a computer for long periods of time. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. May be exposed to extreme temperatures, elevated noise levels, fumes, blood-borne pathogens, biohazardous materials, and chemicals, including formalin, within laboratory environments. Must be able to safely work in mechanical, laboratory, warehouse, and office environments.

This position requires periodic travel between work locations and may require a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Participation in an on-call rotation and after-hours response to facility, HVAC, and environmental control system emergencies may be required.
