Job summary

Lam Research in Fremont, CA is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead a major capital project, including a semiconductor cleanroom and central utilities facility. You will own end-to-end delivery—from initiation to completion—managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve quality and on-time results.

You will coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring cost-effective resource use and strong reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field with 12+ years of experience; or Master’s with 10+ years; or equivalent experience or a PhD with 5years experience; orequivalent experience.
• 10+ years of project or program management experience
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, schedule, and budget, including site feasibility and land use planning.
• Lead and coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, track spend, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
• Develop and manage schedules, monitor progress, and resolve variances.
• Provide clear, concise updates to executive leadership, project teams, and internal customers.
• Ensure construction meets design intent, quality standards, and code requirements.
• Manage contracts and support procurement of contractors, vendors, and long‑lead equipment.
• Deliver project status, financial reporting, and actionable insights to support decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement of project delivery processes aligned with business strategy.
• Manage project changes and ensure proper project closeout.
