Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join its local and regional team in Williamsburg, VA. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing Walmart facilities and assets using multiple crafts, with a strong emphasis on safety and rapid response to issues.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of relevant trade experience, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Vocational or Technical certification and 5 years of experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade, or 7 years of experience in one of these trades.
• 1 year of experience using intermediate level functionality of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Can lift up to 75 lbs and move up and down ladders frequently; comfortable working at heights.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, MHE, or related trades) and tools.
• Utilize the work order system to receive reactive repair work orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
