Job summary

Aalo Atomics in Austin, TX seeks a Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician to own reliability and uptime of critical building and manufacturing systems. You will troubleshoot a broad range of electrical and mechanical systems and lead preventive maintenance programs.

This hands-on role requires deep expertise across electrical and mechanical disciplines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with opportunities to improve system reliability and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of facilities, industrial, or plant maintenance experience with breadth across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and manuals.
• Strong safety standards knowledge (OSHA, NEC, lockout/tagout).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, pumps, motors, compressors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and building controls.
• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
• Mentor junior maintenance technicians and establish maintenance standards and best practices for the facility.
• Coordinate with and oversee outside contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and capital projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, parts inventory, and CMMS documentation.
